Wood bark is great for helping your fire get hot very quickly, all our bark is kiln dried and ready to burn.
It can be added when you have lit your kindling and can also be used as a cheap heat source.
Barrow bag size is 85 x 35 x 40cm with skirt lid.
Available for collection only or can be added to your log order.
Suitable for open fires, stoves, chimenea’s & fire pits.
The species of bark can vary between birch. oak, hornbeam or alder, size of bark does vary.

I bought this to see if it got the stove up temperature quicker. I reduced the amount of kindling and put several pieces of the bark in with a small log on top to start the fire. The bark burns hot, so it brought the burner up to temperature very quickly making it easier from then on. Well worth it
